Bont was founded in Sydney, Australia, in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational speed skater, decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont was a pioneer in the use of exotic materials like fiberglass, Kevlar, and carbon fiber in skate boots, and the company dominated the quad racing scene in the 1980s with its unique one-piece manufacturing technique.

These Bont wrist guards have undergone and passed the EN 14120:2003+A1:2007 safety rating, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for protective equipment. The wrist guards are available in sizes small, medium, and large, and in a classic black color.
